BREAKING NEWS: Yakult Swallows shortstop Kuramochi Yoichi (27) and Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Sawamura Eijun (26) found dead following suspected hit-and-run collision on icy road
After waking up in his childhood bedroom, Mochi travels to Nagano to look after his best friend. Who he meets there is definitely not who he expected.
A little girl with pigtails blinked at him. Her eyes were wide, curious, unafraid.
“…Mochi?” the girl asked, voice tentative.
“Eijun?” Kuramochi whispered, disbelief thick in his throat.
The girl nodded once, slowly. Both froze for a moment, staring at each other, time suspended between recognition and wonder.“What the hell happened?” Eijun’s voice was low, more serious than usual.
Kuramochi shrugged, letting the ball roll idly in his palms before tossing it back to Eijun. “I… don’t really know,” he admitted.
“Well, at least you’re normal. A boy. Meanwhile… I somehow got turned into a girl.” Eijun shook his head, muttering under his breath.Bookmarked by WantToBeADog

Summary

Despite everything, he was glad to be able to live as he was.
