Summary
Harry had been a lot of things in his life, but happy hadn’t been one of them for a very long time. He and Jasper loved each other. The wolves trusted Harry to be the middle man between themselves and the Coven. Bree was learning to be her own person with Rosalie and Emmett’s support. Edward and Bella were about to get married (too absorbed in each other to annoy Harry). Carlisle and Esme were thrilled to see their family as close as it had ever been (despite Harry avoiding them often), while Alice bathed in the happiness of her family.
Everything seemed so peaceful.
Mortuus was still a thorn in his side, but he was growing annoyingly fond of that thorn.
What Harry hadn’t been expecting was a series of unpredictable events that would lead to him actually standing up for and defending Bella Swan. Oh, and having to tear down another stupid and arbitrary government. But when you're Harry Potter, what else could you really expect?

Summary
Derek looked up in surprise to note that they were taking a private jet. Dread settled into his gut like a stone.
“It has a cage, doesn’t it?” he asked quietly, and noted the subtle changes in his family members’ posture. “Is it for me?”
Cora gave him a pleading look and nodded.
“Is it because of what you’re going to tell me?” he asked, voice like gravel.
Another nod confirmed it.
Stiles.
Oh, GOD. It had to be Stiles. Derek would not lose control over anyone else in Beacon Hills and they damned well knew it.- OR -
The one where Derek has been gone for 6 months building a new life, finds out that Stiles is being assaulted by Theo, so he comes back to Beacon Hills to kick some serious ass and rescue the loudmouthed human who stole his heart.

Summary
Coming back to Beacon Hills after being away, the last thing Stiles expects to stumble upon during his supposed vacation time is yet another case to solve.
Except, he shouldn't really be that surprised. This was Beacon Hills after all.
It's a complete wrong place, wrong time scenario. Too bad for Stiles this will lead into a tangled web of danger - both from the supernatural and from slightly less paranormal forces. As more bodies pile up, it's clear that he's in over his head.
Not just with the case, but with his heart as well.
