This story is so amazing! It's something completely different, and even though it doesn't have much Klaine (though the little bit is soooo sweet 🥰!), it's completely capturing!
How it explores the feelings and struggles of everybody involved in this difficult situation and the development of characters and relationships in such realistic way - that's just outstanding and extremely empathic writing!The parents not only experience the horror of losing their child (and Cooper his baby brother - also heartbreakingly written 😢), but also when they finally find him again can't just take him in their arms and be happy, because they're complete strangers to him.
And Blaine, betrayed by who he thought was his mother, completely uprooted (again), has to get used to a whole new life, far away from his "home", friends, school - hell he even has to get used to another name!The initial tiptoeing around each other... the insecurities, the dreams/memories, the therapies... the coping-strategies... the trial... the mixed feelings about Marilyn... being careful not to hurt his parents feelings... but also Blaine's parents have to hold back so much and be patient...
Unimaginable what they all had to go through. All the more impressive how you managed to think about all these things and write them down for us to emphasize with all characters - even the "villain".And how they slowly grow closer to finally being a family again 🥰 ...
