Summary
Alannys’s dying wish to her youngest child was to stop lying and free himself from denial and self loathing. Theon made her a promise, with her dying words now heart-held, he's let go of the falsities he'd created and moves forward. He's reconnected with himself, with his people and the Drowned.
He lives in The North Country but remains Ironborn, a Seamaiden made of sweet-salt and iron. Turning to the Drowned God and joining the Eastyde Covenant has helped him find his way. Now three years later he's happy, comfortable with his nature and committed to a steadfast Alpha. His community is thriving in The North, their future bright with the coming rite of the new Heart Tree taking root in an estuary.
However, maneuvering the complexities of cultural differences between the seafolk and northfolk is difficult. Alpha or Kraken, Galen or Beta, Omega or Seamaid. What one tradition means for one people may be destructive to the other.

Summary
Inside, Ramsay is just a dog. A temperamental, jealous and defensive dog who never grew out of his puppy phase. Theon has learned to be a good handler to that dog. Knows how to feed, care and discipline him in this less than human mindset. It doesn't make him any less of Ramsay's bitch.
Two things can be true at once.

Summary

Originally read this on AdultFanfiction site years and years ago. I'm still as impressed and enamored now as I was then.
The authors build's a whole dystopian world that dives stright into gender/sex dynamics that are interesting and aggravating; this is, its so well established and tangible that the things going on will touch the reader emotionally.
There are so many characters, they all are unique and dynamic ( throughout the author's whole series ). The setting feels diverse and lived in. Just great work. Kabi, if you're reading this... your stories have been some of the most informative in my earlier reading years.
Good shit, if you're into the themes. 10/10 <3

Summary
Theon is kicked out of his father's home. Both his sister and best friend are away at college, and he also doesn't want to live off the Stark family anymore after having already done that for most of his young life. When he turns to his local grocer's bulletin board for help, he soon finds himself set up with the infamous Ramsay Bolton and the beautiful, remote house he resides in, both hidden away in the privacy of the fields and pines of Dreadfort Road. Things are good at first, but it isn't long before Theon discovers why he should have trusted his instincts and ran the moment he saw those icy eyes and that dangerous smile.
