Trey had a confession.
For a long time now, he'd been chased by a certain guilt. It was quiet now; he often didn't think about it at all. But it was there. He knew it was there every time that voice whispered in his head, telling him he'd done something horrible wrong.
Nine years was a long time, though. Maybe it was time to leave it behind.
But that option quickly disappears as the past comes back and slaps him across the face, held by the hand of a new foreboding future he'd looked away from for far too long.

His left arm had traveled up to his mouth. He bit down on it hard without even questioning it. This felt good. This was right. Why had he ever tried to stop this? It's not anyone's business what he did with his body. He continued biting all over his arms, leaving deep teeth marks all over the surface of his skin.
He could faintly hear someone knocking on his bedroom door, but the adrenaline coursing through his body and blood pumping to his ears made it impossible to really be aware of anything outside his current goal.
If someone really needed him, he could deal with it later. They can screw off.
His arms had begun to grow almost numb when he heard a clear voice.
“Riddle!”
Taking his arm out of his mouth, he looked up. It was Trey. He stood by the bathroom door with a horrified expression.

Floyd seemed to find Riddle’s word choice amusing, just as he did with all of Riddle’s reactions. “That one doesn’t begin with i~”
