Summary
Becoming a vigilante was never supposed to be anything more than a way to train for becoming a hero. But now that he is here… he might as well help out as many people as he possible can. Sure, maybe he'll just get in the heroes' way and maybe he ended up helping a few criminals a long the way, but he wasn't going to give up!
Becoming a hero was what he lived for, after all. Without that… What was even the point? What was the point of anything?
It shouldn't be too hard. He just needed to cover himself up, not speak in case anyone recognised his voice, and avoid using his quirk when people could see it. That, at least, he could do. All he needed to do was lay low and avoid getting into unnecessary situations.
Easier said than done. He seemed to draw in unnecessary situations.

Summary
It started when Marinette had a bad day. Not only was she late for class, she snapped at the teacher (and Chloe, but that wasn't new), then she made a fool of herself in front of Adrien (again, not unusual but still soul-crushing). To make matters worse, an icy Akuma attacks Paris and Chat Noir is nowhere to be found. When he DOES appear, Ladybug snaps at HIM too, and he disappears, leaving Ladybug to purify the Akuma by herself. When Chat Noir's Kwami comes to find Ladybug (and by proxy, Marinette), she can't help but be worried. Had she unintentionally caused her own partner to become a victim of Hawk Moth?
