Summary
What if Adam’s journey into the basement had a different outcome? What if he realized the role designed for him before he lost his grasp of self? What if him and Jonah leave that house together?
Aka
Adam finds out he has been an alternate this whole time, that he isn’t the ‘real’ Adam Murray, who was stolen away as a small child and replaced by him. However, instead of falling and losing himself, Adam runs back to Jonah and the car.
Things shift from there as Adam tries to come to terms with this new information and the resulting changes this has on him while Jonah tries to figure out what happened in that basement to make the other begin to act so strangely
