    As the League finishes tying up loose ends, Gotham’s criminal underworld has benefited from the Batman’s absence and calls for its hero.     Sniper plays the saxophone. He's... alright at it, he's not terrible. If he tried to make it as a career musician, he'd fail miserably. The spark isn't quite there, the creativity, the-- for lack of a better word-- soul. Not that he doesn't have one, despite the sometimes shudder-inducing flatness behind those glasses. He has one, and bears it, when he's trying desperately to follow along with a John Coltrane record. Other times he fills the silence with a stiff, muscle-memory rendition of some song or another, some too slow and some too fast to match the source anymore, but just right for the half-remembered lyrics he imagines draped along the sound.
