Summary
While the Fellowship fought for the Ring at the Black Gate of Mordor, over in Greenwood, another battle was waging under the leaves. What happened? What was the outcome? Will they ever recover? The aftermath was horrific, with many dead and even more injured. The battlefield was bad, but the camp was worse. Many more died after the battle had finished. Slowly drowning in guilt, and with nothing he can do to change the outcome, how will he deal with the weight dragging him down? Was all the suffering worth it? Nothing he can say will fix anything, but maybe there is something he can do to make it better. Maybe there is hope out there. Maybe it wasn't in vain.
Or...
Aftermath of the battle in Greenwood after the ring was destroyed (hence the name), and ultimately the toll the years of war had on the forest, and its people, but more specifically, its King. Also, there may or may not be another thing that is determined to destroy everything Thranduil loves, and it's up to Elrond to figure it out :)
