Cecil feels his stomach clench in apprehension as he looks at the Mark through grainy security footage. Hands behind his head and expression perfectly calm surrounded by reanimen.
No yelling, no cocky smirk, no crazy eyes.
There's also none of the anxiety or anger or any of the complicated array of emotions that Cecil is used to seeing on those features. Just the sort of calm confidence that stems from the complete and utter certainty that he’s the strongest person in the room. Cecil is intimately familiar with this kind of cool surety, since he used to see the look all the time.

Or: One of the Mark's isn't actually evil and he wants to stay. Complicated, heart-wrenching, and sometimes funny things result from this choice.
