Lan Zhan gets lost in the pretty face pushed in less than a foot from his own--and in the giddy realization that Wei Ying remembers his name. “Something new,” he says finally.
“Great! It's harder since you don't do alcohol, but I like a challenge.” He winks at Lan Zhan before spinning around to peruse the shelves. “Are you more of a sweet or sour guy?”
Lan Zhan’s taste in beverages pretty much begins and ends with green tea, but today is a day for risks. For climbing out of his rut and trying new things. He decided that in the last two minutes. Perhaps Wei Ying's enthusiasm is contagious.
Or Wei Ying is a bartender who makes terrible drinks. Lan Zhan keeps going back to his bar anyway.

‘Uh. Okay.’ Wei Ying rubs his forehead with his free hand. ‘How about your name? Your real name.’ In case he needs to file a police report or stalk this beautiful, scary man on google or something.
The man looks even more angry. He pulls his shoulders back and draws himself to his full height, which is rather impressive and forces Wei Ying to tip his chin up slightly.
‘My name is Lan Zhan,’ the man says.
