In this AU of Spirit Animals, a chance encounter leads Mwitu (the Lightning Bird Hero of Nilo) to join up with the Fallen and be thrust into the spotlight. His twin brother Kion, however, is a Conqueror, having been raised in Stetriol. Who are the real heroes here and what will they do?
Notes: This is an aged up AU (Nectar Ceremonies are at 13). Kion and Mwitu are twins with a special connection to the Great Beasts. Rollan got Nectar around his 13th nameday and has worked with the Greencloaks for a year but hasn't joined them. In this world, power has consequences: grafting.
Once more Arax looked at Phoenix. ‘Wild, what is your view on this?’ Phoenix immediately knew this was just in his mind. He had no clue why the Great Beasts were singling him out as ‘Wild’. . .
‘Then stay out of my way,’ Arax replied. Phoenix felt a spark of fear. For Arax to warn him of that, things had to be going south. Beyond that, why did his survival matter to the ram? Simply because he told the truth? That didn’t make much sense, especially since he was being singled out long before he spoke.
