It wasn’t that Emma didn’t approve or anything–she had been one of Ruby’s bridesmaids, for god’s sake! But it just surprised her that it had never come up in conversation with Regina. They were best friends, right? Not that Emma had ever brought it up herself, she supposed. Not that she was into women. She just thought… she just thought she should have known that about Regina, right?

    Emma types I’ll owe you into the message field, glancing over at Henry to shoot him another smile before she looks down.

    Autocorrect had turned her message from I’ll owe you to I love you. She stares at it bemusedly, her heart racing for reasons that make no sense. It’s just a typo. Of course she loves Regina, but they aren’t the type to talk about those kinds of feelings. Not when it comes to each other. She’ll have to blame autocorrect, and she pauses and starts to type–

    The message comes from Regina, just as Emma begins to type again. I love you, too. Enjoy your night with Henry.
