frank iero has spent years trying to get over the boy he dated when he was twelve. gerard way was his first kiss, his first boyfriend, and the first person who ever made him feel like being a little weird wasn’t something he needed to apologize for. they were children, and their relationship lasted barely a year, but frank never really stopped loving him.
gerard, meanwhile, has no idea that the boy working behind the counter at his new college’s cafe is the same boy who once gave him a friendship bracelet and promised they’d get married someday.
