Summary
Nova was recently seen in the OPLA version that I posted a few years back and recently finished. HOWEVER, originally, she was made to be an insert into the Manga. After a lot of feedback and excitement, I'm now posting that original version:
"I didn't dream.
Whether we're talking about the type of dream you have when you nod off in class or the type of inspirational dream you have in life. I just didn't dream. I couldn't. I shouldn't.
But…
They made me want to with their dreams, their aspirations, and their adventures. They made me want to explore and grow. They made me want to dream. I had never wanted to dream before.
But my dreams were still empty, foggy, like I was wading through tar that was always pulling me back; pulling me down. They were unreachable and unattainable.
Yet, as I drowned, as I suffocated in my emptiness, someone's hand grabbed me and pulled me up.
Up and up and up.

Follow Lorian, Maddox, and Iris as they reunite to take over their beloved grandfather's farm.
Mostly sibling banter over text, barely any knowledge about farming, and maybe some romance sprinkled in.
Maybe even some lost loved ones coming back to be a part of the family. -

In honor of the new game coming out for Dragon Age, I'm starting a collection of one-shot/drabble character studies following each of my player characters throughout the game. These will be closely intertwined with each other and keep as close to the game accurate timeline as possible. (At least until I add my own brand of canon)
Each entry will be at least 300 words.Meet Guinefort Brosca, a Casteless Dwarf born in Dust Town, Orzammar, taught by the Carta, and raised by her sister Rica. Shes never left Orzammar and has always been told she'll amount to nothing. Yet, against all odds, she wants to be more.

“Let's go find Dad, then,” I say. Hiccup frowned but nodded, taking my hands off his cheeks. He drops one but keeps the other, swinging our arms between us as we begin down the path.
His hand felt small, even for an eight year old.
As we walked, I noticed him start to look around nervously.
“What’s wrong?” I ask.
“What if there’s dragons around?” He asks weakly. I frown, looking around the snowy forest myself. I didn’t think dragons would be about.
“So what?” I ask, getting my brother to turn a horrified look on me. “If there are any dragons, I’ll beat them up! No dragons gonna ever get close to you.” I proclaim.
“You’d do that?” He asks weakly. “They could eat you, though.”
“Don’t care.” I sing back. A tiny smile bubbles onto Hiccup's face, stretching out the scar over the right side of his chin.
“I wanna be a Viking just like you.” He murmurs.

All they had to do was work the occasional (frequent) extra shift, keep with their court mandated therapy sessions, and keep their mind off of the incident from last year.
