But what could be worse than being madly in love with the hottest boy in college, who leads student protests and casually gets arrested every other weekend? Oh, right, the fact that Enjolras is his twin sister's boyfriend. Grantaire must suppress his love, despite their chemistry, if he wishes to keep the only other person he's ever loved.

Grantaire struggles with failing his first year of college and his first year with crippling depression. Enjolras is the friend he needs but wont reach out to because he feels his "rich boy problems" aren't worth it.

Because Grantaire might only be 17 and he might have only loved him for a few months but that doesn't mean that his boyfriend sleeping with someone else doesn't hurt. It does mean that going to a party and hooking up with someone is a better idea than sat at home crying over old Facebook messages. And so what if he gets drunk and shouts at his ex god? He need's closure because frankly sorry isn't good enough.

Summary
The Café Musain isn’t open all night, but it’s hours are pretty damn close and it’s the late-night hours of the Musain that Courfeyrac loves the most. It is in these late-night hours that he and Bossuet have argued over the finer points of Irish coffee, that Bahorel once got in that fist fight with that homophobic douche and wiped the floor with him, that Combeferre and Joly would try to explain to Enjolras why his body still needed sleep and food (despite his insistence that it didn’t). In the late-night hours, Musichetta invited Bossuet home with her and Joly for the first time and Feuilly allowed Courfeyrac to play his wingman as they flirted with the freshman and sophomore girls who came in for late night snacks.
And for the last month, the late-night hours are when Courfeyrac is most likely to see Flower Boy.
