Crossing paths with Giyuu, the two are sent to train under Sakonji Urokodaki and avenge their fallen family members. However, due to Emiko's fierce temper, Urokodaki sends Emiko away to another trainer; separating the two friends. Two years have past since then and no word was given of Emiko's whereabouts or if she is even alive. It was until they meet again at HQ.

Personal note: as someone who’s struggled with sexuality most of her life I’ve been wanting to write this subject for some time now but I never really had a clear idea or wasn’t really sure I could do it justice. I hope this fic resonates with those who need it.
