Summary
Emperor Yong, while leading his men against the Sihke, is killed. His son becomes the new Emperor, but only in name. The Empress Dowager has taken control, believing her son too weak willed to keep the throne. Seeds of corruption within the court begin to fester under her rule.Four years later, the mysterious Lily of Qiaohai singlehandedly turns the tides of war, and the armies of Qiaohai return victorious. Her fame spreads across the country, but so too does news of her death.
In her wake, the White Lily Society is born, a rebel group promising to restore prosperity to the people.

*Semipermanent Hiatus* Wow, its been years. I reread this, cringed for hours, and now I am in the process of rewriting. This will be finished, probably when OW2 is released and my ambition to complete the fic skyrockets.
Jesse knew he couldn’t run from his past forever, but he didn’t think he’d have to face it this soon.
Strike Commander Jack Morrison is left in charge of Blackwatch during Commander Reyes absence, and when he hears rumors of Deadlocks return, sends Agent McCree as a double agent to gather intel so they can end it once and for all. He doesn’t realize the gravity of what he’s done until it’s almost too late.
Commander Gabriel Reyes, now known as Reaper, has been a Talon agent for almost two years now, and discovers dealings with the newly reformed Deadlock. Seeing it as a chance to bring them both down, he sends word to Overwatch of the opportunity. -
