Summary
Paul’s eyes widened, and he became incredibly nervous all of a sudden. What the hell were they going to do?! Ringo was just staring at it, alarmed, but not sure of what to say. George finally caught wind of what was going on, and he quickly put out his cigarette, calling out, “Beatles and children first!”
Paul bit his lip nervously, trying to remain calm as he went back to wake John. But when he turned, John was already awake and white as a ghost as he too had seen out the window where the plane was aflame, muttering ‘oh shit, oh shit, oh shit.’
He got up from his seat and headed for the emergency door at the back, but a stewardess blocked it and asked him, “Please be seated, Mr. Lennon.”
“The bloody plane’s on fire!” John shouted, terrified and a nervous wreck. Paul watched Mal get up and stand in front of the door so that John couldn’t try to wedge it open because of course, he still was trying to get out despite what the stewardess had said to him.

Summary
It feels strange not to say anything else, but Paul can’t articulate anything else. His throat feels chafed raw, scraped clean, like someone had shoved their arm down his throat and pulled out his innards. It aches all the way down to his chest, every breath dragging against it. He keeps expecting sound to come out, but there’s only this tight, abrasive sensation, as though grief has a physical texture and it’s lodged there.

Summary
Not only was Allen Klein a crook, but he had his eyes set on Paul McCartney from day one.
Their manager, Brian Epstein, rejected him once before. Brian was now dead and Apple Corps was failing: so Klein immediately offers his services as a 'business savvy' manager. Paul doesn't trust him, but he was outvoted by John, George, and Ringo.
As their manager, Klein threatens and coerces Paul to sleep with him. The other Beatles think Paul has finally seen it their way, but they soon discover the awful truth.

He doesn’t have a problem with sex. It’s just sometimes things head that way with a bird and then he has to do it because it’s gone on too long, or sometimes he doesn’t feel well—that strangely nauseous feeling limping up his throat—but he has to do it anyway because the other boys are doing it—because it won’t make sense for Paul not to, because it won’t look right.
And sometimes after it’s fine, and he’s glad he made himself. And sometimes after he doesn’t feel fine. Sometimes after he lies in bed and he can’t stop shaking and he doesn’t know why. Sometimes he sits in the bottom of the shower until the cold chases the ache away.
