Summary
Trent noticed that while Beard had pointedly gone back to being entrenched in his reading, he hadn’t turned the page since Trent had entered. “I just wonder if you can comment—off the record of course—on the dating status of Coach Lasso, he seemed to be traveling around a lot with,” Trent consulted an open, yet, blank notebook.
“Coach Lasso or Ted Lasso?” Coach Beard's eyes narrowing and leaning forward in his seat.
Where Trent gets a bit brave and asks Beard a question which leads to pints with a certain coach, a stroll in the park and feelings revealed.
Set in ambiguous season 2ish.

Summary
Trent felt the cold of the hotel room floor on his bare feet as a he took off his glasses, facing Ted squarely. "I was just wondering, well two things really." Trent held Ted’s gaze for a long pause as Ted’s earnest expression waited paused in mid button.
"Well one, if you realize just how habitual your post game ritual is and," Trent trying to make his expression sweeping, "How anyone could ever think you were entirely straight with how much starch you use on your sweaters?”
...aka a slice of life storytelling night from Ted telling Trent of past hurt and romantic relationships. There is some snuggling and comforting that happens along the way.

Summary
When the wifi goes out at Ted's, Ted and Beard turn to watching the Shocker game at Mae's. Trent happens upon them and is invited into the wonderland that is watching football--with football coaches. Ted jumps on chairs. Beard is as protective as a mama bear, but buys Trent a pint. Just some smoopy afternoon getting to know each other and sharing each other's space. Pre-relationship, but the air is thick with promise.
Set slightly after season 2, so two-ish years since the Shockers won the Division II NCAA championship. Trent Crimm is working on a book about Richmond. They haven’t hooked up, but intention is in the air.

Summary
After receiving a picture from the tabloid of their post game embrace, Nate realizes he has feelings for Ted while sitting in the coaches offices. Nate begins to over think things while Ted is amused and overly understanding. Nate not having self love and Coach Beard speaks in Fortune cookie wisdom. Ted/Trent if you squint, but in my head cannon--Trent is only on the phone. Set sometime is season 2-ish.
