Learning Izuku had no quirk at all was a blow to all of them. Inko was worried about her reputation amongst her peers and, much more quietly because she could barely bear to admit it to herself, that this somehow meant something was wrong with her. Hisashi went into denial the second he heard that there was a .0002 percent chance that Izuku could develop a quirk despite the extra feet bones, teeth, and organs. Everything he’d spent a lifetime building crumbling with one doctor’s meeting was unacceptable.
He’d never allow it.
Izuku was only four, he was still trying to figure out what that meant, why all the adults were so upset. So he did what any four year old would do- turned to his mom for comfort and reassurance.
“But I can- I can still be a hero, right?” He asked, eyes wide and holding back tears as his favorite All Might video played on loop in his memory, competing with the doctor’s words that he’d most likely never have a quirk playing on loop. For the first time in his life, his mom didn’t answer him.
Inko just turned away, covering her mouth with one hand as her own tears began to fall. Nothing was ever the same after that day.

Summary
After transforming into a Titan and being simultaneously seen as a monster and humanity's hope, Eren's fate lays in the hands of the Survey Corps, the only branch of the military that actually want him to live.
To sway the masses, Erwin plans on taking advantage of the fact that Eren is an omega by presenting him as Levi's fated mate, claiming that as a fated pair, Eren will have no choice but to obey his alpha's word binding that will aim to control when Eren transforms, and his actions as a Titan.
Eren never wanted to be claimed by an alpha, but for Levi... maybe he can make an exception.
UPDATE 11/25: This story is not abandoned, do not worry! We have paused updates until we get over the difficult arc we're at in the writing process (more specifically: the angst of season 4 (harder to write) + the way season 4 is non-linear makes it confusing for this fic which is linear in comparison). We know it's an unfortunate longer wait but ultimately it will be more rewarding (we hope) to have regular weekly or bi-weekly updates once we resume posting. Thank you for the wait!

Established eren/levi. Met underground and were brought to the surface together with Isabel and furlan.
Levi and Furlan join the scouts, eren and Isabel are tucked away in shingashina for safe keeping and motivation. Until the wall is breached and Eren forces his way into the scouts to fight with Levi.
