Summary
Detective Constable Mount has often read that there are people in this world with easy lives; she is beginning to realise that she is not one of them.
There’s an arsonist in town playing with matches. With one body already going crispy it’s up to her to figure it all out while wrestling her own demons. And God knows she’s got enough of them to fill a very large book.
In the meantime Seppie wants a dog, Ferns being a teenager, Trixies divorcing Tom, Helens marrying Phyllis and at some point Patsy really needs to pin Delia down for a chat.
Eh. Life. It’s complicated.
Also: this is part 2 in the series so if you want to know what the hells going on I’d suggest reading part 1 old tides.
