    Summary

On Percy's sixteenth birthday, stood before the Olympians; he never followed the line of Athena's gaze, never saw Annabeth's stricken face after he was offered godhood, and so his impulsivity got the best of him. At that moment, overcome with guilt and fear, he thought only of all the lives he might save if he were more powerful.

    ψ

Thalia fell into step beside her. “This isn’t supposed to be your job anymore.”

“Yeah, I thought that was the deal too,” Annabeth agreed.

“I don’t like the sound of it, this prophecy. Seven? When has seven ever been a good number for a quest? And only demigods. Giants can only be defeated by gods and heroes together. How do they expect seven demigods to defeat them? The gods are fracturing and we all know its only going to get worse.” Then a thought seemed to occur to Thalia, and her jaw went slack.

Annabeth could see Thalia had caught up. They both knew they were thinking of the same person, Annabeth could see it in her sister’s eyes; the image of a god that was purely Greek, undivided, with every reason to be involved in the progress of a demigod’s prophecy. They both knew he was sure to involve himself one way or another, he wouldn’t be able to help himself.

    Summary

Paul didn’t want to use the word intimidating to describe Percy, per say, but Paul had spent a lot of his relationship with Sally being intimated by Percy for a number of reasons. One, within his first conversation with Sally, Paul knew exactly where any romantic partner would fall on Sally’s list of loved ones and that was squarely below her son. Absolutely fair enough, but that did mean Paul spent those early days before meeting the kid knowing that one wrong move, one bad vibe with this kid, and he had the power to end the whole relationship. And that was before the there’s something you should know about Percy talk.
Well… the FIRST there’s something you should know about Percy talk.

Paul Blofis learns about Percy's other side of the family and everything it means for the tired teenager he's grown to care about. It's a lot. Paul just wants the kid to be okay.

    Summary

“It’s Luke’s war,” Percy answered. Not shouting, but resolute.
Annabeth spun on him like he’d screamed. “This is Kronos. Not Luke.”
“Maybe, but it was Luke who just led the charge against camp.”
Annabeth faltered, and then turned back to Thalia. “He’s angry at his dad. You know he is, but he’s being manipulated by Kronos. He thinks he’s helping everyone.”
Luke attacked the camp? At face value, Thalia wasn’t terribly shocked. He had been the most resistant to coming at all and even more vocal than she about his anger at their parents. Doing something like this to piss them off sounded about right.
But… What was this about Kronos? And… Annabeth was wearing one of the orange shirts. That means she’s a camper, right? She stayed. So if Luke attacked Camp— “Were you here when he attacked?”
Annabeth’s eyes pressed closed, but Percy stepped forward. “Yes.”

    Summary

Once, there was a great prophecy that a child of the eldest gods would reach sixteen, heralding a battle for Olympus. While the battle came to pass, there was no child of the big 3 at the age at the time. Now, a new war has begun, and Annabeth once again finds herself smack in the middle of it.

Honestly, she’s quite fed up with it. She got months of her life stolen, her memories erased, became a (temporary) praetor of Romans against her will to prevent a power-hungry schemer, went on a solo death quest from her mom, and now is plunging into Tartarus alone, hungry, and with absolutely no supplies.

However somehow, in the most unlikely of places, she suddenly finds herself with some mysterious help.

Now if only she could find the cause.
