AU: Rebecca still nabbed Richmond from old grey walnuts but never went through with hiring Ted. Of course he does end up in London and they still meet because the universe works like that for soulmates ;)

“It’s not a regular dress up party.” Keeley sounded offended that Rebecca would think she was capable of organising something tacky. “This will be a classy Masquerade Ball like in 17th century Venice. Masks will be provided and they are top of the line, super sexy.”
Rebecca huffed. “I’m not going to walk around in a room full of masked strangers. It sounds absolutely horrifying not knowing who just pinched your arse.”
“It won’t all be strangers,” Keeley wiggled her eyebrows, twirling the little card seductively in her hand, expertly letting the short pause fill itself with suggestions. “Beard will be there too… and Ted.”
