Summary
It'd taken more than two months for Wednesday to track down Enid and free her from the wolf that has held her in its jaws.
This is the journey back home as they wrestle with the idea that not everything can be sufficiently expressed with words alone, some are long overdue, and that maybe they're just really stupid sometimes, even if Wednesday would disagree.
But hey, they're just two 16-year olds. Cut them some slack, please.

Summary
Wednesday spends her nights behind a camera lens; Enid, her social media-savvy roommate, spends hers in front of one. But as Enid’s online life goes viral, she drifts further and further out of reach. At first, Wednesday doesn’t care. Why would she? She’s immune to the shallow dopamine drip of likes and followers. Or at least, she tells herself that.
Liking every post started out of spite. Then it became a ritual—a pathetic way of staying connected. And she’s perfectly content to yearn from a distance.
Until Enid posts the caption: “What do you do when the person you want is right there but won’t even look up from their camera?”
And, well, now Wednesday is utterly doomed.

Wednesday sighed, disappointed to feel Enid moving farther away from her to pick the folder. Enid went to go back to her rightful place, by her side, only to pause.
"Is this okay? Should I sit in the other chair? I kind of jumped you." Enid, with her lip held down by her sharp canines, asked the most ridiculous question.
"There's no need."
Her own hand pushed the other girl back, closer to her, comfortably sat so the both of them could see the documents easily.
"I should warn you the contents may upset you."
"Better to get it over with, don't you think?" Enid, eyes wide by her unnerving forwardness with their touches, shrugged with a shy smile. "Nothing will upset me as much as the whole stuck as a wolf fiasco."
