Summary
"It's not what it looks like," Buck blurts.
Bobby's eyebrows reach for his hairline. "So you weren't violating the one-firefighter-per-shower regulation?"
"We," Buck sputters. "I mean, okay, yeah. We were, but we—"
"We were figuring out breakfast," Eddie cuts in.
"Well, next time, figure it out in different stalls."

Summary
“Go— camping?” Buck asks, trying to keep up.
“Yeah, it’s great, and it’s just one night,” Eddie tells him. “Only if you want,” he adds, feeling like an idiot now for asking him to do this.
“What if there’s bears? Or like some weirdo?” Buck asks.
“Weirdo?” He asks, confused.
“Have you not heard about this Tik— never mind you definitely haven’t,” Buck teases, Eddie rolls his eyes at him making Buck giggle. “There’s this debate on Tik Tok where women are saying they’d feel safer in the woods alone with a bear over a random man.”
OR
Eddie realizes his yearly camping trip with Chris is coming up but with Chris in El Paso, he asks Buck to join him instead.

Summary
Eddie’s massage therapist is Briana.
He confirmed this six times: twice on the website, once during a phone call he made from his truck in the grocery store parking lot like it was a covert operation, three more times in the confirmation email.
"Eddie?"
He looks up.
That is not Briana.
The guy standing in the hallway entrance is tall and built like someone whose job description wildly undersold the physical reality. There's a birthmark above his eye that shouldn't work but does, way too much, and his scrubs fit him well. They — okay. They fit him obscenely well, actually.
His arms. God, his arms. They're just arms. Everyone has arms.
Eddie is suddenly, involuntarily, thinking about what it would feel like to have those arms braced on either side of him. Or around him. Or holding him down.
Which is not a thought he's ever had about a man's arms before. He's pretty sure. He's almost sure. He's going to move on from this.
He is going to stop looking at the arms.
Any second now.
Or,
It's just a massage. Eddie can survive that. Right?- Language:

Summary
Evan Buckley was truly fucked. One week after leaving the only home he’d ever known, his parents’ house—Ground Zero hit, and the world went to hell. Eight months later, he’s still searching for his sister Maddie in Los Angeles, armed only with a tear-stained note: “I’m leaving Doug. I’m going to Los Angeles.”
When Buck finally tracks her to Safe Zone 118, he realizes that maybe having a family and surviving alongside people who actually care, isn’t so bad.
At 118, firefighter Eddie Diaz, a single dad, turned his fire station into a refuge with his team when Ground Zero struck. Just trying to keep his kids safe, he’s thrown for a loop when a stranger shows up claiming to be Maddie’s brother. Buck is skilled, prepared, and oddly magnetic, forcing Eddie to question everything he thought he knew about survival, trust, and maybe even… something more.

Summary
Athena plans a Christmas getaway to celebrate Bobby’s return, but a booking mix-up leaves Buck and Eddie sharing a two-bedroom cabin… alone.
The rest of the 118 ends up in the bigger cabin (and immediately continues there betting pool), while Chris quietly joins Team “My Dad and Buck Need to Get Together Before Christmas.”
What follows is a week of accidental couple’s activities, mistletoe mishaps, disastrous gingerbread houses, Buck teaching Eddie how to ski, snowball fights, and so many almost-moments neither of them will admit to.
Buck’s convinced Eddie’s straight. Eddie’s convinced Buck could never want him back.
And on Christmas Eve, when a storm traps them in their cabin, they finally have no choice but to talk about everything they’ve been avoiding.A holiday trip, a slow burn, and two idiots in love trying very hard not to be.
Or
Buck and Eddie get stuck sharing a cabin during the 118’s Christmas vacation, and every holiday trope in existence decides to attack them at once.
By Christmas Eve, the only thing more intense than the snowstorm is the truth they’ve been avoiding.Bookmarked by XSEA_GULLX
