Yoongi runs up to catch him, crushing the leaves on the sidewalk and slings his hand over Seokjin’s shoulder.
“You had a crush on me.”
Seokjin swats the brat’s arm away, “yah, can you stop saying that?”
“Don’t be embarrassed,” Yoongi giggles from somewhere from his side, Seokjin is refusing to look in his way right now. But in the end, he gives in and faces Yoongi just in time to see him winking. “I get it actually. It’s hard to resist someone like me.”

Summary
Yoongi thinks about him a lot. About his bright smile and warm, squeaky laugh that makes his eyes squeeze closed. Sometimes, Yoongi likes to pretend that the convenience store hyung is his boyfriend. That he could be his boyfriend.
It feels so real that he can almost imagine it could be true. That he can almost feel the warmth of another hand in his, fingers slotted between his own. The ghost of a laugh or another voice ringing through the quiet of his apartment.
Beautiful dreams, perfect fantasies. But none of it is real. None of it could ever happen.
Not because Yoongi is too shy to make a move or ask the guy out. Yoongi could do it. Or, more accurately, he could do it eventually. Work up the courage to ask the cashier out for real.
Or he would. But he can’t.
Because the man isn’t real.

Yoongi, lonely and a little lost, falls in love with the hologram cashier at the convenience store. He knows it’s not normal, knows it’s a poor coping mechanism, but he never expects to meet the real Seokjin.

“What?” Seokjin’s frown intensifies. “Why wouldn’t it be a good idea?”
Namjoon frowns right back. “I don’t know? Because you haven’t seen Yoongi in well over a year and suddenly you’re going to take a trip to an isolated cabin with him?”
“It sounds like you think Min Yoongi is going to murder me.” When Namjoon only stares at him, Seokjin huffs. “Namjoon-ah, you know Yoongi.”
“Maybe he changed.”
“Yoongi is my best friend.” Was, Seokjin’s traitorous brain whispers. “Everything will be great.”

Seokjin never meant to lose touch with his best friend. When he receives an email from Yoongi out of the blue, Seokjin impulsively books them a fishing trip to reconnect. It feels like there’s so much unsaid between them, maybe more than Seokjin even realized.

Summary
What does he need? Perfumes that give a more nuanced replica of that cedar scent? He didn’t want to admit it, but nothing could replace Seokjin’s pheromone. What he used to provide him with was not only a plain smell. All those doting, melancholic, euphoric, reassuring and now heart-breaking memories that are--were filled with Seokjin's unique fragrance were the things that Yoongi's addicted to.
He needs Kim Soekjin. The only thing he’s desperate for is an alpha called Kim Seokjin.
