Summary
In a world where it's not only gender inequality but also secondary gender inequality, Charlie Kirk and Dean Withers fight for what they believe in, but when does that change? What lines are crossed?
Are Dean and Charlie the Romeo and Juliet of politics or the Tybalt and Mercutio?
Updates weekly on Wednesdays AEST.

Each chapter is approximately 1,000 words, I am aiming for at the very least 10 chapters.

Summary
He thought back to the hours he’d spent behind those impenetrable walls. In that maze of a tower, hiding himself away from grief and guilt. Wielding a symbol of fear and death and triumphantly smiling as he did so. Cutting his braid off and watching it fall to the ground, meaningless.
Walking among slaves as if he wasn’t one himself.

Sidious manipulates Anakin to believe Obi-Wan is dead, causing him to fall to the dark side much earlier than in the movies. Meanwhile, Obi-Wan and the Jedi think Anakin is dead, and that the new Sith by the name of Darth Vader is definitely a problem.
(This is basically a shit ton of Anakin angst)

Summary
The first time the thought I love him enters Padmé’s mind, they’re sitting in the grass she played in as a little girl. She tells him how difficult it is to get the other senators to listen, and Anakin says, unflinching, “then they should be made to.”
She doesn’t agree with him. There’s something a little disturbing about it. Padmé has been a defender of justice for most of her life, even despite the futility of it; she knows that forcing your way never helps and runs counter to what she believes in.
But sometimes it’s frustrating, working with her own colleagues who see the same shit she sees, day in and day out, people starving, problems like slavery and child sex rings and spice addiction get ignored; as they see that and do nothing. It’s frustrating to devote herself to justice in the galaxy, and to feel at times like she’s the only one who cares.AKA the Padmé thesis - why it makes perfect sense that someone like her would fall in love with Anakin Skywalker, and devote herself to the Republic, even while something rotten was growing inside both of them.

Summary
The Charlie Kirk/Dean Withers coffeshop! AU nobody needed.
°°°°°
“Almond or soy milk?”, asked the barista -Dean, according to the pin on his apron- and smiled up at him.
Almond? Soy? Charlie furrowed his brows.
“Just normal milk”, he clarified.
“We don’t have cow milk. We’re a vegan coffee shop.” Dean taped against a sticker on the counter. Right beside it another sticker saying: ‘Trans rights are human rights’
Charlie felt a headache forming.
