Summary
Link pulled the relic from the sea and onto land, careful to not be too rough with it. Looking at it closer, he noticed that it didn't look like a true mirror; instead, it was just a shiny black that barely reflected his face. "Maybe it's just dirty," he muttered. He pulled his sleeve over his hand and attempted to wipe it off.
But instead, his hand just went through the glass.
Link knew this was dumb. The majority of the things he did were. But it wasn't every day you stumble across some kind of mirror portal, so how could you possibly just ignore it and go on about your day?

Old Hyrule may be underwater, but that doesn’t mean that relics from the kingdom of the past can’t be dug up. Link, a young man that works with the Old Hyrule Expedition Group and attempts to retrieve lost artifacts from the seas around New Hyrule, unearths a mysterious mirror and unknowingly unlocks the path between two worlds. Now that New Hyrule is being threatened by an inhabitant of the Shadow World that is out for vengeance, Link has to accept his role as a hero and fix the mistake that he accidentally caused. At least he picks up a few allies along the way.

Ever since Altaira was a young girl, she was plagued with visions of the Light World. None of these visions were bad; in fact, they were quite the opposite. She saw the lush green fields, the sparkling water of the lakes, the intricate and ornate Hyrule Castle. It was truly beautiful.
Yet it was unattainable.

The Sheikah then has to try and pick up the pieces of a broken relationship, but sometimes the truth does more harm than good.

Worten squinted, blinked, did everything he could to try and fix his clearly horrible vision. But no, apparently he could see fine. Apparently this really was happening.

Just because Link defeated Calamity Ganon and saved Hyrule doesn't mean that he's become any less strange. In fact, he may be even stranger now, considering he can swim through the ground and glue rockets to boulders. At least he's entertaining for the people of Hyrule to watch.

In his nearly 500 years of life, Wanderer had faced several embarrassing moments. From his naivety when he lived in Tatarasuna, so naive that he fell for any pranks, to the humiliating torture Dottore subjected him to, he was no stranger to shameful feelings.
Yet, there were few things as humiliating as tripping over a loose board, careening off the side of the suspended structures in Gandharva Ville, and landing unceremoniously in the shallow water below. And to add insult to injury, his arm popped off.
