Summary
Wan Yan Xu couldn't take it anymore. He barely had time to be lovey dovey with his beloved Su Su who was busy working for the good of the citizens. During the first time that Wanyan Xu made Su Yi sit with him during court meetings, the ministers were displeased. But soon they realized that the good Empress merely listened and did not interfere with government affairs. When he did voice out his opinions, his words carried wisdom which made everyone convinced. Now the ministers appeal to Su Yi whenever they thought that Wanyan Xu made an unfair decision.
Thus Wanyan Xu's current predicament. Not only does he have to worry about the ministers, he also has to battle with his son for Su Su's attention. Oh his sweet time with Su Su has decreased tenfold and he is getting lonely.
He failed the first time when he planned to whisk Su Yi for a vacation. But this time he vows for success. It was time to set his plan in motion. Time to keep Su Su to himself. The court be damned.
This fic is a continuation of War Prisoner Extra 1: Giving Away, where Wan Yan Xu planned to go on a vacation with Su Yi.

He is not shown often but when he is there are no smiles. You will need to forget everything you've read in other fan fictions. He is a cold person, wrapped up only in the effectiveness of his work.
