You're sweet, you're kind, and you look at him like he hung the stars. He's a gentleman, deep down. A stupid, lovesick gentleman. He probably thinks he's not good enough for a princess, or that he'll scare you off if he acts like his usual self."
Her words land like a revelation, a key turning a lock you didn't even know was there. The formal distance... it wasn't rejection. It was reverence.
"So," Nami says, a sly grin spreading across her face. "We're going to give him a little push. A big one, actually." She grabs your wrist and starts pulling you towards the women's quarters. "Come on. I got you some presents."
