Working at the club was just supposed to be a side gig for Adam while he worked through his last year of undergrad. Sure, he enjoyed staring at the cute bouncer who seemed to have more charisma than anyone Adam had ever met, but he knew nothing was ever going to happen there. He was too shy, and besides, why would they ever have a deeper conversation than passing coworker pleasantries? He definitely didn’t expect him to become his super hero.
For Caleb, this job was a pause button. After college, he wasn’t sure what he was going to do with his life. Honestly, he didn’t feel ready to make those kinds of life altering decisions.
