Summary
John joins the army to save his sister Harry from becoming a slave due to being in debt and being a drug addict. He is promised by Mycroft that Harry will be looked after if he joins the army and dies for his country. He gets shot in the shoulder and because of the injury can no longer work in the army. Mycroft gives him an ultimatum, to become a slave for life or the help for Harry will be withdrawn and she will become a slave instead. John chooses to be a slave and is given one of the new collars which is a surgical implant into his brain which would be fatal if it is removed but is also given a normal metal collar so people know he is a slave. He is given to Mycrofts merciless brother Sherlock who has never wanted a slave in case he goes to far but Mycroft decides he needs one. What will become of John?

Summary
Sherlock Holmes and John Watson came across a woman in need after being found drowning in water, yet she herself does not remember what she needed help with. As they slowly begin to piece the puzzle together, they grow more and more suspicious of their client. They investigate the death of a man, which only leads them from one mystery to another.
Yet, the pair is faced with their own problems as they explore the case, as people grow more and more invested in their private lives. A slip of the tongue leads to rumors that put the famous detective duo in danger.

The Private Life of Sherlock Holmes, rewritten as diary entries from John Watson in a writing style similar to that of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's original books. Divergent from the canon of the film, to make it more loyal to the original characters, and to make the story more interesting.
