It wasn’t that Ozzie felt bad for Stolas, per say. But the Ars Goetia did do him a favor that night with Crimson, which he paid back with the Asmodeus Crystal that sits in Blitzø’s safe, which was also sort-of already paid for when Blitzø saved Fizz’s life in the first place.
Really, the whole thing was a little too crisscrossed with favors and debts that he just felt like he at least owed Stolas a solid heads-up before he started screwing his ex(?).
Or:
Ozzie can see the writing on the wall that his monogamous relationship is about to become a throuple and, while not mad about it, thinks the other guy deserves a shot at fixing his shit before Blitzø is sandwiched in-between Fizzaroli and himself.
