They hadn’t had the chance to spend a lot of time together today. Even though they made sure to check in with each other, with Dunk buying him an unsweetened matcha tea and other snacks and Joong keeping an eye on him all day to make sure he wasn’t being overwhelmed but also having fun, they just ran in different circles. It usually happens. They are different when it comes to this thing: Dunk doesn’t like crowds all the time, he loses his social battery rather easily and gets too overwhelmed too soon, whereas Joong thrives in them, always at the center of a party. Although, there are times when Dunk's social battery runs longer and wilder than Joong’s himself, but he does tend to be in the outer circles of attention.
His chest feels so full as he looks at Dunk's back facing him, the beautiful man asleep on the far right of the two single beds he has conjoined. Joong has missed him so much the entire day. He walks in and shuts the door, making sure to be as quiet as he can.
Joong, Dunk, and all the love they have for one another. All the emotions that overflow and seep into their being.
