You take a deep breathe and decide to just rip off the band-aid.
"Look, I'm not sure what crawled up your ass and died but I've only known you for a week and gotten more complaints about you than I have from any other new hire. I get customer service isn't fun and it surely isn't for everyone- so why the hell are you here?"
You realize a little too late that might have been a bit much, but hell it's Monday morning and you haven't finished your coffee.
Instead of an immediate threat to contact HR though the guy- laughs. Like a genuine laugh, and it takes you by surprise.
"Are you supposed to be using language like that?" You can hear the smile on his face.
