Summary

Smiling sheepishly, he says it again: “Can you pretend to be my girlfriend? Just a little bit?”Modern AU where Jinshi is still a royal heir to the throne. Maomao meets Jinshi in high school, and due to her eccentric hobby ends up evolved in some shady business with him. The unlikely pair end up attending the same University. Just as Maomao starts to get excited about a potential new adventure, the request from her University acquaintance is far more mushy and disgusting than anything she could've imagined.
It's basically a College and High School AU all at once.
The plot is definitely on the back burner here, it's more a concoction of every trope I love and endless fluff.- Language:

Maomao was never the one to initiate and Jinshi had accepted it to a degree, but there was still a part of him hoping. Then again, he wasn’t sure how he would react if it were ever to happen.

Summary
Maomao is a med school drop out, working at the Verdigris strip club where she also runs a free illegal clinic to help those who can't afford medical care. One night she treats Gyokuyou - fiance to a rich business man and suddenly she finds herself drawn into the world of the upper class.
An alternate modern setting where Jinshi and Maomao meet under different - but slightly similar - circumstances and their feelings develop all the same.
