Silver suspira, pero su sonrisa es ligera cuando sus ojos se encuentran con los de él.
—Cambio.
Esa palabra flota en el aire entre ambos, cargada de un peso que ninguno explica. Shadow no pregunta más, pero en su mente, la palabra resuena como un eco incómodo. Algo que nunca ha buscado realmente, algo que siempre ha temido.

Summary

–Hazlo, Shadow. Destrozame. –Las palabras salen de sus labios sin dudarlo.
Shadow siente su garganta secarse. Sus manos, que sujetaban con tanta firmeza la piel de marfil, vacilan por un segundo. Solo un segundo.
Es todo lo que tarda en procesar esas palabras.
Una oscura carcajada baja se escapa de su garganta. Su agarre se endurece de inmediato, y en el mismo instante, sus caderas presionan con descaro contra Silver, reclamando lo que él mismo ofreció.
–No sabes en lo que te estás metiendo, Silver.

Summary

Summary
Humanity was always testing Shadow's patience; he thought them foolish for continuously misplacing their trust and making him second-guess his choice to aid them.
Accustomed to a familiar fate like what Shadow despises, Silver helps Shadow understand that it's okay to dream of chaos and ruins, of blood and smoke...because even in the utter destruction of it all, there is also something beautiful.
