Summary
The Hospital, despite emergencies, had a routine: check in patients and visitators, treat patients, note down their leaving and repeat, occasionally and pleasantly interrupted by banter with co-workers.
Despite the anomaly-pandemic, there was something undeniably familiar and daily about Intern's shift at the Animal Hospital, and someone else was also part of this routine
Barney was an habitual visitator at the hospital, except he didn't come for check ups or to visit someone...he always asked for a cup of coffee. A cup of coffee, when ten more coffee shops could make a thousand better cup of it, unlike the coffee bean-flavoured water of the Hospital. Sometimes they wondered if it was his way to hog coffee and avoid paying for it.
Nonetheless, despite being years older than Intern, Barney had a somewhat unique charm that Intern couldn't quite put a finger on it, yet he had something undeniably creepy going on about him...

Summary
“You look and sound ridiculous...” the rat snarkly said, earning a harsh glare from his friend.
“I do not! Stop being a jerk—” the other tried to defend himself, his words slurring a bit and his face merely twitching in an angry expression as it was still suffering from the face paralysis the harsh cold had given him.
The Head Nurse sighed and walked into the check-in room to sit down for a bit while she enjoyed her coffee and her break, the Nurse's eyes lightening up in a bright idea.
“You guys happen to be here at the right time! A newsreporter gave us an advanced camera to identify anomalies, me and Intern want to try it out, are you up for a group photo?” she asked excitedly.
“I'm out.” the Head Nurse replied, before going back to her coffee.
“Well I'm out too.” the patient replied, adjusting his glasses.
“Oh, come on, have fun for once! Let's take that picture, it'll be quick.” his friend incouraged him, he was somewhat mocking him, he knew exactly that his friend wasn't exactly perfect-picture in his current state. Still, the patient begrudgingly groaned in agreement.
“Fine...let's take the picture.”
In which the staff uses the camera Liz gave them the wrong way.

Summary
“Ah, Shinobu-chan! I can't decide!” she whined out, cup long forgotten on the table, and the tea was probably getting cold.
Shinobu let out a thoughtful hum, a finger under her chin as she pondered.
“Try to imagine yourself in a relationship with one of them, who would you see yourself better with?” she asked, her hands in her lap as she fully faced the other hashira.
Mitsuri thought about it for a while, visualising herself with Tomioka, then with Iguro...but it was so hard! If she imagined herself with Iguro, she'd feel bad for not including Tomioka in her vision, or vice versa. She was stuck in a loop, until images of her being with both of the men started mixing up, showing up as foggy pictures in her head, then became extremely clear, and too detailed.
Iguro nuzzling her neck and Tomioka hugging her side...so sweet and heart-warming...but what was that?!
She shook her head, trying to recompose herself.
“I can't choose!” she voiced out, desperate.

Lanky figure, twitchy, a somewhat crooked stance...you were mostly thinking about what the hell had this guy going on and why he tied your wrists around a tree. But you couldn't help but feel like he was familiar, like you had an idea of who he was.
“You were extremely n-nosy...I-I was guh-good enough to warn you.” he said as he held your notebook open, pointing at the shaky capital words you had read the other day: Stop looking for me.
He uncaringly tossed it away, it fell on the ground with a noticeable thud on the dirt. The next thing he picked up to show it to you was the journal.
“Really? G-going through my stuff?? Have your p-parents th-taught you manners?” he sounded pissed, but not enough to actually care a frick about it.
“Today I feel gen-generous enough to let you ch-choose your treatment.”“We could chop o-off your fingers first...or we could start w-with cutting through your side...” he started listing, macabre choices that were making you regret being this noisy in the first place...if only you had stayed put and comfy at your house...
