    Summary

This is the story of a core named "Wheatley". That's it. That's all there is. Would you like to know more? [YES] [NO]

Wheatley gets another chance… or two… or three… or four… whether he likes it or not. And so long as he does it the Narrator’s way, of course.

    Bookmarker's Notes

This fic is both a love letter to the two fandoms and a meaningful character study. Its comedically absurd amalgamation of over-the-top chaos and meta commentary work swimmingly well, faithfully like in Portal and The Stanley Parable, respectively, and it creates a delightfully entertaining writing style. It's a fresh take on a Wheatley redemption arc, fraught with unexpected and difficult (and very existential) challenges, and the Narrator's role in the story, through actively fighting against Wheatley's shenanigans. The backbone of it all is the dialogue between Wheatley and the Narrator, where Wheatley's frantic energy augments the comedy of the Narrator's dry commentary, and the Narrator's smugness makes Wheatley's loud bouts of frustration more endearing.

Sholmes and Iris invent silly string, which will definitely be helpful on investigations and not be used for any nefarious purposes involving property damage.

This is an excellent and extremely faithful interpretation of the post-TGAAC2 London side friend group, written like straight out of the original game. The plot, character dynamics, and dialogue are thoroughly comedic and well-written with hilarious one-liners everywhere. This is way too good.

    Summary

Barok doesn't owe anyone anything, so why does he feel so strangely responsible for the orphaned and mentorless children left behind in the wreckage when the dust settles? Against his better judgment, he chooses to stay and take responsibility instead of retiring to the countryside, and this single decision somehow alters the course of his life as it slowly draws everyone together.

Strong, complex characterization and dynamics with compelling conflicts. A lovely interpretation of the post-TGAAC2 London side friend group.

Maki Harukawa was the Holy Salvation Society’s top assassin. Working for the highest bidder, it didn’t matter if it was the good guys or bad guys so long as her boss got a paycheck at the end of the day. She worked alone, striking from the shadows and disappearing into thin air. So why the hell was the city’s resident hero showing up at all her recent missions?!

An engaging story concept revolving around a wonderfully creative, yet faithful re-interpretation of the training trio (plus Kokichi) and their character dynamics.

    Summary

I think I know too much. I think… I think I’ve been here before. I think I remember being here before.

    “I’ll see you soon.”

The words slip unbidden from your mouth, almost involuntarily. You open your eyes to see the princess nod and raise the knife.

    “Hey. I love you.”

Then, all too clearly, you have a terrible realization. For this to work, you have to believe that she can make you forget. And you don’t, if your bleeding memory is any indication. You don’t believe anymore.

But you don’t have time to contemplate the consequences of that realization. There’s an agonizingly familiar, piercing pain in your chest; then everything goes dark, and you die.

    Bookmarker's Notes

A wonderfully fresh and ambitious expansion of Slay the Princess- an exploration of what's beyond The Wild fallen apart yet cut free. Through character arcs, it explores the balance of individuality and cooperation among pieces of a whole, as well as the experience of pseudo-mortality for immortal entities. The scenes and concepts beautifully well-written in a style very much like the original game, and the characters' conflicts and trials are compelling and creative.
