“It is you,” Wriothesley murmured, voice tinged with something dangerously close to wonder. “The rain.”
Neuvillette’s world tilted.
He jerked his wrist free, stepping back as if burned. “You are mistaken.”
Wriothesley studied him, gaze sharp. Calculating. Then, slowly, he smiled.
A real one.

Through their months traveling together, Dorian and Orym had shared rooms, beds before; usually with others piled in too, in various configurations of human and faun and dwarf and genasi and halfling. Though never pressed quite so closely together, the sensation of drifting to sleep to the rhythm of Orym’s breath was familiar to Dorian; it had long been a ritual of his, before he even knew why, and he had always found it peaceful, comforting.
Waking to the feeling of a warm, firm body pressed from chest to hip, hot breath against his bare chest was less so.

It's just how it sounds. Earth was destroyed, and now Chan's a long way from home.
Not by choice, of course.
No, because after Earth was destroyed, Chan was held captive, auctioned off, ran away, and now he's some stow away on a ship of criminals. Who also happen to be, a long way from home.
And the Captain of that ship is kind of an asshole, but he's reliable, and when he flexes his muscles in a fight- kind of hot too.
So let's see how Chan survives while being a long way from home. Let's see how he finds his new home, and makes a new name for himself. All while kicking some alien ass in space.(aka Chan and Minho may be at odds at first, but what's a better place to find interspecies romance than in space?)
