I mean sure he thought the other was beautiful, he loved his personality and he always got a funny feeling being around him since puberty. That was all completely platonic after all right?! He never thought of unholy things to do with the other. He would never after all Zenitsu was meant for his sister not him! Well until now that had been the case. Maybe now he was coming to the realization he has always liked the man more than a friend.
Or Nezuko rejects Zenitsu for good and Tanjiro finally comes to terms with the fact he’s in love with him instead. Once he confesses though things get messy.
