Mr. Leggans is partially turned away from her. She doesn't want to interrupt his phone conversation— too many irrational thoughts about him getting explosively angry at her for trying— so she stares at him, willing him to turn back around so she can make eye contact and gesture at the red number on her monitor.
"—the little dude's eyes were just bright green. I'm talking like, the green of those glow-in-the-dark plastic stars that Dean had in his room when we were kids, yannow? And they were glowing."
Robin freezes. That sounds suspiciously like the kid from last week. Robin had long since dismissed him as a bad trip from a laced cigarette. How else was she supposed to explain the moving smoke and his freaky eyes and the glowing thermos? There's no way all those things actually happened.

"Shh!"
In Lancer's peripheral vision, he sees Justine glancing around before her gaze rests on Lancer himself. He'd been staring at the legal pad in front of him unseeingly as he'd listened. He quickly writes out some gibberish on the pad, realizing his pen had stilled. Their voices drop down to whispers after that.
Hmm. Daniel makes videos of some sort? They're available for his classmates to see, and he talks to ghosts in them. Lancer never would have imagined the latter, considering how the boy is always one of the first to leave the scene of a ghost attack. Oh, well. At the very least, Lancer is glad his student has a hobby.

Lancer slowly comes to realize there's a lot he doesn't know about Daniel Fenton... and then, eventually, it all makes sense. "A ghost! That means there's a ghost!" he asks, his still-undetermined accent somehow managing to put more emphasis on the 'h' in 'ghost' than it normally does. He has this reaction every time the radar dings, without fail. The radar has gone off no less than six times today.
Santana Rodriguez-Gustav looks equally ecstatic, her hand a vice as she shakes Maddie's arm excitedly. Maddie has to remind herself that this is worth it. The money is worth this. Today is these two's last day here. She just has to weather the storm. Funding for research doesn't come easy, so she can't blow this. If this couple wants to waste their money on their so-called "official ghost tour honeymoon," that's fine. She just wishes they were easier to deal with.

He supposes he could have decided to say no when Danny invited him and Sam to be a part of this video. He'd honestly thought about it, but then Danny offered to let him be the cameraman and well... Tucker couldn't say no to the opportunity to get his hands on that sweet ProCam. What's a little bit of fear when the trade-off is holding a wonderful beauty of human technological innovation? If he has to risk summoning some weird demon just to be able to hold this baby, well, then, so be it.

Even from a good distance of away and two stories down, Jack's yell of "Ghosts!" is very distinctly audible. He produces a metal baseball bat with a sticker on it from some mysterious place on his person. Danny starts laughing even harder, and the camera shaking briefly worsens again.
Masters glares venomously at an oblivious Jack, who is still searching for a nonexistent ghostly threat. He then turns directly towards the window Danny is peeking out of.
"Ohcrap," Danny says quickly, hiding behind the windowsill in vain. He'd already been spotted. He turns the camera towards himself. His face is flushed from laughter as he buries a hand in his hair and giggles. "Oh, man, I'm so gonna get it... but it was is worth it."

Danny turns around dramatically, revealing the decrepit sign and the looming building behind its fenced gate. Since last year, one of the snake heads at the top of the caduceus on the front of the building had fallen to the ground. Its open mouth oozes silent malevolence, despite being a statue.
"The not-so-affectionately nicknamed No Mercy Hospital!" he declares. Thunder accompanies the statement, followed by a quick flash of lightning. The camera, now attached to his head, points upwards as he looks up at an empty sky.
