On Jabber and Zanka’s very first attempt at a proper date night, they witness the unthinkable: a couple getting engaged. Out in the open. For everyone to see. The restaurant patrons applaud. Someone weeps in the background. Jabber and Zanka remain completely unbothered because HA, and, HA HA, who in the world wants to get married?
Jabber and Zanka don’t. They aren’t like those people.

“Wow. And I thought this only happened to people in books or movies.” Kurapika observed with minimal amusement. “I think this number was meant for you.”
Leorio pulled a face, as if to say, are you sure?
“Do you seriously think I’m the one she wants?” Kurapika deadpanned.
“You can never assume…’” Leorio blushed, acting bashful. “Well… heh. She’s a nice girl, but.”
“But?” Kurapika urged. “You’re unsure.”
“I mean yeah, I barely know her.”
“That hasn’t stopped you from making advances, before.” Kurapika had a brief, unpleasant flashback to Leorio’s antics during their trials in the Trick Tower.
“I apologized for that! ” Leorio groaned. “Look, she’s beautiful, don’t get me wrong. Just not what I’m looking for right now.”
Before Kurapika could pry, their server returned. Her cheeks were rosy pink as she set up the card machine.

"No need."
Tamsy paused, mouth centimeters from his cup, the warmth from his glass still heating his soft lips.
"I shared that story because I wanted to, if anything, it was me paying you back for this kind gesture."
As he spoke he lifted his cup referencing the tea that Tamsy brought.
"Does this mean I'll get a new secret every time I visit then~"
"No."
"You're no fun."
This one was free, next time," he punctuated himself with a sip from his cup, "bring a story of your own."
"Next time?"
"Next time."Or:
Tamsy, in a stroke of genius, decides that the perfect way to quell his boredom and interest would be to indulge in various brews of tea with none other than his boss in hopes of learning more about the mysterious man. Along the way they both learn more about each other by sharing secrets, experiences, and more~

Everything is Jabber Wonger's fault. Every problem Zanka has had lately is a direct result of Jabber. She never gets enough sleep anymore, because she's answering U up? texts at one in the morning. Her body has started twitching awake at 12:55 like clockwork just in case Jabber texts. More often than not, she never does.
