Summary
Katara never thought she'd see a dragon. They were thought to be extinct. Yet here she was, healing a dragon she'd found in the woods (of burn wounds no less) and letting him follow her home. She didn't mean to bond with him, but that's what happened, and he became her constant companion and protector. If only it had stayed that simple.

Summary
The war is over and Hermione Granger is back at Hogwarts for its first ever eighth year to complete her studies, write her N.E.W.T.s, and finally move on with her life. And everything is going more or less according to plan.
That is, until she’s paired up with Draco Malfoy for her end of year potions project, and she discovers he’s no longer the bully she once knew.
He’s something far more dangerous.

thistlethreadd has created an absolutely incredible movie trailer for Unidentified Hybrid that perfectly captures the atmosphere of the story. Have a look!

Not convinced Zombie!Draco is for you?!
He’s not your typical zombie — not by a long shot. Think iZombie meets Twilight meets Warm Bodies.
Which is to say, our zombie boy is full of angst and longing, and puppy dog love. And providing he's *well fed* he’s perfectly capable of passing for a normal human being.
Or mostly normal.
Apart from all the smelling and licking, that is.

Summary
“I’ve been saving it for something important.” She said slowly, looking back up at the face of the enemy.
She managed not to flinch when his eyes narrowed at her searchingly, and simply held the vial of oasis water between them. Without saying anything further, she reached for his face. The left side.
The scar tissue was a strange mix of textures. She’d never gotten so close to long-healed burn scars before. The skin moved loosely beneath her touch, but the bumpy tissue beneath it remained stiff and unmoveable. Zuko’s breathing seemed harsh and shaky, but his face managed to remain impassive.
“But…” She pulled her hand away. “I only have enough water for one attempt. It may not even work…” she trailed off, feeling uncertain, but he was watching her again and the sense of empathy, of strange camaraderie, that she’s started feeling when he mentioned his mother’s loss grew. “But I’ll try.”
10 more minutes can change a lot. Canon-divergent from the end of season 2.

Summary
Percy Jackson is the worst neighbour Annabeth Chase has ever had. Loud music, lots of friends, skateboarding in the hall - he's everything she doesn't want. So why can she not imagine home without him?
---
He rubbed slow circles on her back and murmured sweet nothings into her hair. “I’m sorry,” he kept saying, over and over. “I’m so sorry.”
“Why are you apologising to me?” she croaked. “You’re the one who’s -”
“Dying,” he finished for her. “I’m dying, and that’s why I’m sorry.”
