    When the timeline shifts and cracks, people from other universes slip through the gaps. When Carl shows up at Bucky and Zemo's Berlin home, their lives are rocked. Zemo, overcome with emotion, does his best to recognize that this Carl is not his Carl, and Bucky does his best to try and absorb the information that wherever Carl comes from, Zemo and Bucky are married and his parents. Dealing with this while also trying to deal with his burgeoning feelings for the baron is a bit more than Bucky can handle, but as they start adapting their life to their not-son, he starts to realize that it's a lost cause. Having a family with Zemo is the dangling carrot.

    This rip in the timeline proves to be the ultimate test of their relationship, and what it may or may not come to be.
