He was good. Jimmy knew next to nothing about figure skating, but he knew enough to know that this guy was really good. Like, really good. He moved himself with a kind of perfected elegance, from the tips of his fingers to the way he held his skate up in a glide. Every jump, every spin, each would end with a careful flourish, even with the speed he was skating at. It was an art form, when Scott skated.
It was breathtaking.

We’ve been together for quite a while now, I was wondering…” She reached into her cloak, slowly drawing something out. Caleb’s ears were ringing. The thing she held in her hand was small and silver.
A… ring.
He didn’t hear what else Evelyn had said, knowing enough about Boiling Isles courting rituals to know what a ring meant. He knew what she’d asked, despite not hearing the words.
“Yes,” he said, scarcely more than a whisper. “Yes! Yes!” Once again he lifted her up to spin, Evelyn laughing in delight. “Forever and always, my love, yes.”

“I just don’t understand why the Greeks treat him as such a big deal,” Marcel said “Or even the gods. Lady Juno and Lord Mars clearly backed him, and I don’t understand why. He certainly doesn’t look like much.”
“Why don’t you just ask around?” she asked him. “Heroes have stories and people are always eager to tell them. I’m sure any of the Greeks could tell you more about him.”
“It’s not a bad idea,” Jordan added. “It would be nice knowing exactly why he was part of the prophesied Seven. I know the Venus girl had sorcery and the Vulcan boy obviously had power over fire. But why Jackson? Just because they took a boat?”
Despite raising him on a shield, Romans don't know much about Percy Jackson, or even the Greeks in general. As the Legion attempts to recover from the wars, they find out there is far more to the Son of Neptune then they originally thought, and learn quite a few things about themselves along the way.
