It felt almost cruel or taunting, the way Cooper sat on the edge of his desk, leaning towards him. Harry could smell his cologne, it made his heart beat faster.
Maybe it was not cruel, maybe it was just his fault for reading into this and his fault that it evoked some kind of feelings in him.
Cooper knew, he must know, how would he not know, the way Harry couldn't stop himself from looking at him and the way he flushed sometimes when their eyes met. It must be obvious to him, why is he not disgusted by that, is he playing some sort of a game? He wouldn't be that cruel, would he?
He's too good of a man, so maybe that's just pity.“I’d like to go with you for a drink today,” Dale said casually, smiling, but it didn’t match the way he was leaning towards him. “I’d like to spend some more time with you before I have to say goodbye.”
