Chuuya watches the way Dazai looks at him. Ane-san said that this particular outfit of his is guaranteed to make men drool and shiver in fear of him. She didn’t actually say ‘in fear’, but Chuuya filled in the blanks. He isn’t an idiot, after all!

As much as he loves the thought of dying together with him, in a final stand- a last moment before their goal is achieved... he thinks- but never tells- that sometimes he hopes Fyodor fails, or changes his mind- and then maybe the two could go back to this more often. More free days. More dates, and life and love.
Ultimately, he’ll stand beside Fyodor, irregardless. But as he stares at his love, tired eyes drifting away to sleep, he wishes for more moments like this.
He’ll just have to cherish them for now.

It was through unexpected circumstances that Dazai gained possession of a rare enchanted kitten, whom he named Chuuya. There are rumours that enchanted cats have special powers and some even have the potential to gain human forms. However, no one knows what conditions must be met for this to happen. That aside, Dazai's new cat is as beautiful as he is grumpy and antisocial, but once a week, he would seek out Dazai for a long cuddling session. There is more to that than meets the eye.
aka. the fic I don't know why I wrote because I usually don't like animal characteristics but the thought of cat!Chuuya was too perfect to pass up.

Summary
Rainy days had always been interesting for Dazai, particularly during heavy downfalls when the rivers would become rapid torrents, the ideal condition for a submersion in his eyes.
However, instead of finding a nice river to submerge himself in, Dazai ended up tucking a small kitten into the inside of his coat to bring it home.

Eternally-single Chuuya is dared by his friends to date someone. Chuuya eventually agrees, but adds a condition: if the guy he chooses breaks up with him within 10 days, it will suffice as proof that Chuuya’s not meant for dating and therefore his friends will stop nagging at him about his non-existent lovelife.
Thinking that it’s an easy win, Chuuya chooses to date Dazai, his asshole childhood friend who’s known to be a serial womanizer.
