Lan Wangji reaches forward, lightning-quick, and drags his brush along the curve of Wei Wuxian’s neck. Wei Wuxian yelps, startled, as he feels the cool liquid streak across his skin.
“Lan Zhan!” he protests, “I like this shirt, don’t get paint on it!”
Lan Wangji meets his gaze, a challenge in his eyes.
“Then take it off.”
